The real estate network Century 21 Portugal has officially launched FINANCE21, a new financial technology (fintech) company specializing in mortgage credit. The platform introduces an innovative model to the Portuguese market, designed to allow families to secure home financing before they begin the process of searching for a property. According to a company press release, the initiative aims to simplify and secure access to mortgage credit by merging advanced technology with specialized human oversight.
The core of the FINANCE21 service is a digital platform connected via Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to the main banks operating in Portugal. This technology enables users to perform real-time mortgage simulations, have their documents validated automatically, and sign contracts digitally. The platform is designed to streamline the entire mortgage lifecycle, from the initial step of feasibility analysis and document submission through to the final approval, the signing of the deed, and the official property registration.
