Sotecnisol Engenharia e Ambiente has announced the conclusion of a significant rehabilitation project on the roofs of the Sintra train station, a critical infrastructure node in the Lisbon metropolitan region. The intervention required an investment of approximately half a million euros and was aimed at the structural and functional restoration of the facility, alongside a comprehensive energy modernization. KeepOn was tasked with the complete replacement of the existing light fixtures on the station's platforms. The installation of new, modern luminaires has substantially improved the quality of illumination, thereby increasing safety and comfort for passengers, while also delivering a major reduction in energy consumption and associated operational and maintenance costs. This upgrade aligns the historic station with contemporary environmental and efficiency standards.
