New Luxury Condominium 'Val D'Ouro Palace' to Launch in Porto's Historic Center
A new luxury residential project named Val D’Ouro Palace is being developed in the historic center of Porto, situated along the Douro River. The private condominium is the result of a sensitive rehabilitation of an 18th-century palace and will feature 16 exclusive residential units. The development includes a range of apartment types, from one-bedroom (T1) to three-bedroom (T3) layouts, and also includes two penthouses with three suites each, and a four-bedroom (V4) villa. Prices are set to begin at €620,000.
The project specifications highlight high-end finishes and amenities. The apartments are designed to maximize natural light and feature generous ceiling heights in a 'french ceilings' style, with noble wood multilayer flooring. Kitchens will be outfitted with top-of-the-line appliances, and bathrooms will be clad in marble. The upper-level apartments will offer panoramic views over the Douro River. Common facilities for residents will include a 1,300-square-meter garden, a heated outdoor swimming pool, a fitness room, an infrared sauna, a 'cold plunge' system, and private parking for all units.
The Val D’Ouro Palace was recently showcased to international investors in the United States. The project was presented at an event in Manhattan, New York, titled "An Evening in Portugal," which was promoted by Christie’s International Real Estate of New York in partnership with LUXIMOS Christie’s, the affiliate for Porto and Northern Portugal. The event was aimed at North American investors and families expressing interest in the Portuguese property market. Another Porto-based project, the SeaHaus Atlantik Residenz, was also featured.
