New 40-Unit Residential Development Announced for Lisbon's Alvalade Neighborhood
A new residential project, named RCC Alvalade, is planned for Lisbon, bringing 40 new apartments to the city. The development represents a €30 million investment and will be located in the well-known Alvalade neighborhood. The project will offer a range of apartment sizes, from one-bedroom (T1) to three-bedroom (T3) units. The design is being led by the architect Manuel Aires Mateus and will feature a contemporary architectural style.
The project specifications detail a gross construction area of 7,000 square meters. It will include a range of exclusive amenities for residents, such as a rooftop swimming pool, a gymnasium, a reading room, and a parking garage with 103 spaces. The developers state that RCC Alvalade is based on three key principles: signature architecture, comfort solutions, and landscape integration, all intended to add value to the historic Lisbon neighborhood.
The construction of the project has been awarded to MAP Engenharia e Construção, a company within the MAP Group. The development is being promoted by The Edge Group and Ardma FCR. In a formal announcement, José Rui Meneses, Co-CEO of the MAP Group, stated that the project strengthens the group's position in the "new high-quality housing segment" and reflects the confidence that clients have in MAP's technical capabilities and experience.
